String quartet concert

In the enchanting setting of the Notre-Dame de Québec Cathedral-Basilica, the musicians of the string section of the Orchestre symphonique de Québec present a quartet concert echoing the history and acoustics of the site. Orchestre symphonique de Québec

Founded by Joseph Vézina in 1902, the Orchestre symphonique de Québec is Canada’s oldest orchestra. Every year, it reaches tens of thousands of people of all ages and backgrounds through its concerts and community activities.

Notre-Dame de Québec Cathedral-Basilica

Founded in 1664 by François de Laval, it is the oldest parish in America, north of the Spanish colonies. Since 2014, the Basilica cathedral has had a Holy Door, the only one of its kind outside Europe. More than 800,000 people visit the Basilica Cathedral every year, a place of faith, of history and of cultural and musical heritage.
