Guided musical tours

Immerse yourself in the fascinating history of the Morrin Centre with a concert that takes you from its prison past to the Literary and Historical Society of Quebec.

Olivier Bussières, traditional percussionist, and Annette Bauer, ancient flautist, offer a unique concert exploring the sound memory of the Morrin Center through the ages. Their duo traverses the ages, from its foundations under the French regime to its transformation into a center for the interpretation and promotion of the city’s English-speaking heritage, through its occupants: prisoners, academics, booksellers, journalists, executioners, historians and more. Skilfully blending traditional, popular and elitist music according to the different episodes, the two musicians enhance an immersive guided tour, creating a rich sensory experience that harmonizes past and present.
